When you submit a project inquiry, ShaneCato.com may collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, website address, requested service, inquiry text, and any additional details you choose to provide.

Website and attribution information

The site may record the page where an inquiry was submitted, the referring page, campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, and campaign, and standard technical information needed for security, reliability, and analytics. Raw IP addresses are not intentionally stored in the Lead Box; security rate limits use one-way identifiers.

How information is used

Information is used to review and respond to project inquiries, operate the private Lead Box, monitor form reliability, understand which pages and referrals lead to inquiries, and improve the website and services.

Service providers

The site uses service providers for hosting, database storage, transactional email, and analytics. These providers process information only as needed to provide those services. The current build is designed for Vercel hosting, a separate Neon Postgres database, Resend email notifications, and privacy-conscious configuration of any optional analytics.

Retention and sharing

Inquiry information is retained while it is useful for responding, maintaining business records, resolving problems, or meeting legal obligations. It is not sold. It may be disclosed when required by law or to service providers that help operate the site.

Your choices

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of inquiry information, subject to reasonable identity verification and any record-retention obligations. A verified public contact address will be added before production launch.

Security

Reasonable technical safeguards are used, including server-only database access, protected administrative pages, signed session cookies, input validation, and secure environment variables. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.

This policy may be updated as the website, services, and measurement tools change. The date above will reflect material revisions.
